Randall Abrahams is a South African radio and television personality and an independent consultant to the digital and PR industry best known as “the bad judge” on the M-Net reality competition series Idols.

Here are facts things you didn’t know about Randall Abrahams:

1. Randall was born in Cape Town, Western Cape.

2. He completed matriculated at Harold Cressy High School.

3. He attended the University of Cape Town from 1988-1992, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons).

4. Randall helped establish the youth radio station Yfm, taking up the position of Station Manager, where he remained until 2002.

5. He was the Station Manager of Good Hope FM from 1994 to 1997.

6. Randall was CEO of South African Music Awards between 2011 and 2012.

7. He is a radio DJ at Heart 104.9 FM.

8. Randall is the founder of the PR firm, Total Exposure.

9. He has also worked as a freelance journalist, contributing to such publications as Financial Mail, Tribute, Y Mag, Advantage and Blink.

10. Randall is one of the judges of the SABC2 reality competition SA’s Got Talent since October 2009.
