Bonang Matheba replaces Trevor Noah as the host of MTV Africa Music Awards 2016


The new host of the upcoming 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards Johannesburg was just announced… and it’s Metro FM presenter Bonang Matheba!

The 29-year-old radio presenter, entrepreneur and media darling has stepped up to the plate after Trevor Noah was unfortunately forced to withdraw due to ill health.  The news was officially announced by Trevor Noah on his Twitter account on 21 October 2016.

TThe show will air on October 22, 2016 on MTV (DStv channel 130) and MTV Base (DStv channel 322) @ 9PM.
