Love In The City follows Kiyah, Bershan, Chenoa, and Tiffany who have known each other for more than 10 years and are close enough to always keep it real. Through romances and life-altering struggles the girls are constant sources of inspiration, support, competition and companionship to one another. The show will take us through the group’s adventures, misadventures, romances (two are married, the others are not), successes and life-altering struggles – including breast cancer, which both Bershan and Tiffany have. They don’t always see eye-to-eye and the series showcases the women dealing with conflicts that arise between their big personalities. But after all is said and done, they have an incredibly strong bond and always support each other as they deal with life’s challenges. Don’t miss this exciting series as these women learn that there is much more to New York than just sex in the city.
A world without technology? We’ve all thought about it. Now explore families actually taking up the challenge in the new series Risking It All. The series documents the metamorphosis of three households who pack up and say goodbye to technology in the hope that uncluttered living helps overcome challenges. They say goodbye to their friends and extended family, sell their homes and move to the wilderness to rebuild their lives off the grid. Each family has a unique reason for the drastic change: David’s career left little time for his family, but losing his job forced the Kemps to re-evaluate; the Elliotts want a holistic life to manage Tina’s degenerative arthritis; and the Watfords hope that relocating can save the marriage. They each face the biggest challenge of their life as they build shelter, find their own running water and rely on each other in ways they’ve never had to before. Will their new life strengthen their relationships or will the wilderness prove to be too challenging? Don’t miss the premiere of Risking It All on Wednesday, 15 July at 20:00.
The second season of Sex Sent Me To The ER premieres on Friday, 24 July at 20:55. Each episode tells stories of sexual experiences gone wrong resulting in medical mishaps. Watch as reenactments, doctors and the couples themselves tell real stories of sex gone wrong. In this season, a couple of college sweathearts are busted and must make a visit to the ER. Also featured are adrenaline-junkies who crash land after making love while skydiving. On the surface that’s not a laughing matter, although some of the tales can be described as hilarious. Others, to be sure, are horrifying, but all of them are told by the couples who, in the heat of the moment, got themselves into a fix and needed a doctor to get them out.
