Charlotte Salt to attend SA première of Modder en Bloed


British actress Charlotte Salt is expected to attend the premiere of the South African feature film, Modder en Bloed (Blood and Glory) at The Zone in Rosebank on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

The 30-year-old actress is known for her roles in American television series like Entourage, CSI: Crime Investigation and Wildfire.

In Britain, she’s played the role of the medical nurse, Sam Nicholls in Casualty and also appeared in the period television series The Musketeers, The Tudors and Beowulf.

Charlotte plays the role of Katherine Sterndale in this South African period war drama that is setting the entertainment industry abuzz.

The film also boasts one of the biggest casts in a local production and includes South African actors like Stian Bam, Altus Theart, Edwin van der Walt, Deon Lotz, Bok van Blerk, Albert Maritz, David Louw, Albert Pretorius and Jacques Bessenger with roles by the British actors Patrick Connolly, Josh Myers and Nick Cornwall.

Modder en Bloed (Blood and Glory) will open in a cinemas nationwide from Friday, April 01, 2016.
