John Kani lands role in international film ‘Captain America: Civil War’!

Congratulations are in order for John Kani, who has landed a role in the highly anticipated remake of the movie Captain America: Civil War!

The 72-year-old actor, director and playwright plays the role of “ King T’Chaka in the film and although his part was very brief, it is pivotal because it is where audiences get introduced to the Black Panther” according to TMG Entertainment.

The movie follows  political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage.

The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight.

As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.
