Multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Justin Bieber today announced that he will perform What Do You Mean?, the lead single from his highly anticipated new album, at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air across Africa on MTV (DStv channel 130) from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, on Monday 31 August at 03:00 and 21:00. The primetime simulcast takes place on MTV/MTV Base on Monday 31 August at 20:00 (pre-show) and 21:00 (main show).
The performance will mark Bieber’s first return to the VMA stage since his epic medley performance of Baby, Somebody to Love and U Smile in 2010. His new single,What Do You Mean, will be released on Friday 28 August.
The 2015 MTV VMAs will feature Miley Cyrus as host. In addition, Kanye West will join the exclusive club of legendary artists bestowed with the “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.” Announced performers include The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots. Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.
