Khabonina Qubeka has landed the lead role in the upcoming local crime movie Dora’s Peace.
The 35-year-old actress will portray the role of ”Dora, a Hillbrow prostitute shields a gifted young boy from the violent clutches of organized crime. In the process she may discover aspects of her own lost humanity.”
The movie which directed by Konstandino Kalarytis also stars Hlubi Mboya, Ronnie Nyakale, Danny Keogh, Paballo Koza, Meren Reddy, Denel Honeyball, Molefi Monaisa among others.
The movie is set to be released in August 2016 and we can’t wait to find out who will be rounding out the cast!
FYI: Khabonina is best known for her role as Nina Zamdela on SABC3 soapie drama Isidingo.
