Lee-Roy Wright joins [ED]’s ‘Edge’ as new host!


Lee-Roy Wright has been named the host of the [ED]’s fast-paced series Edge!

The 28-year-old actor and television presenter will take over from Danine Naidoo when Edge season 3 hits our small screens on Monday, May 02  on [ED].

Lee-Roy has extensive presenting experience and started his television career on SABC 2’s live daytime magazine show, World of Winners eight years ago.

Since then, he has been one of the popular faces on e.tv’s youth programming block Craz-E, he has also played host on SABC 3’s PLAYNetwork and has had a stint as field presenter for SABC 3’s flagship breakfast show, Expresso.

Lee-Roy, who is currently also the Digital Content Producer for Jacaranda FM’s ‘The Complimentary Breakfast Show’, says it’s awesome to finally, for the first time, be hosting his own show.

“This gives me the opportunity to explore my passion for the digital world. I absolutely love the fact that technology is forever changing. New developments in this sphere excite me;it makes me want to learn more and experience more” says Lee-Roy.
