Macks Papo

Biography:
Macks PapoMacks Papo was born on December 06th, 1965 in Mamelodi, Pretoria. South African actor, producer, scriptwriter, director, poet, motivational speaker and playwright best known for his role as Marothi Maphuthuma in the SABC1 drama series Skeem Saam.

Education

He won an American Field Service scholarship to Columbus North High School in Indiana, USA, where he graduated with distinction in 1985. Macks enrolled with the Wits Drama School in 1988 and he graduated in 1992 with a BA Dramatic Arts degree.

Television

Macks is also known for his role as Tsheko Mashabela in the M-Net soapie Egoli, from 2000-2007. Macks had a role on Mzansi Magic drama series Isibaya as Sechaba. He had a roles a wealthy businessman Ivan Tshinawa on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, since 2014.

Film

His film credits include amongst others; Taxi to Soweto (1991), Safe Bet (2015) as Mr. Mkwena and Egoli: Place of Gold (1991) as Tsheko Mashabala, Wheels and Deals, Drumbeats and Get that Job.
