Here is the SA Idols 2015 top 3: Mmatema Moremi, Karabo Mogane and Rhema Varrie!
Mmatema after completing high school studies she enrolled for a degree in Linguistics at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and graduated in 2013.
She started singing at the age of 10. Mmatema’s Her talent became even more evident as she became an integral part of the choir at the New Creation Centre in Moletlane where she fellowship for many years. She was also a member of the Tshwane Gospel Choir ( A prominent Gospel Choir in Tshwane) through which she got an opportunity to travel as far as Scotland to perform at the Fringe festival in Edinburgh.
She entered the SA Idols competition for the first time in 2013 and then again in 2014 but she was unsuccessful and only made it to the early stages of the competition. Mmatema also known by her fans and friends as “The Mother Of Progress”. Mmatema writes and arranges music, she is the finalist of 2015 SA Idols Season 11 airing everyday on DSTV channel 199 and also Sundays on Mzansi Magic channel 161.
She won Unisa Music Competitions in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 while she was a student at TUT.
He studied Geo-Informatics at the University of Stellenbosch.
Karabo originally auditioned in Pretoria for the 2015 Idols SA. Karabo is the member of Mogane family, is an anointed Gospel Group. comprising of eight siblings from Nelspruit. Karabo of his number one fan is Somizi Mhlongo and he called him “one of the best male vocalists in the competition”.
Rhema Varrie is a 21 years old South African singer best known as the finalist of the 2015 SA Idols season 11.bRhema lives in Alberton on the East Rand, Gauteng. Rhema’s father is a missionary at the Victory Faith Centre in Boksburg, Gauteng.
Rhema started singing at the age of 5.
He works as a as a financial adviser.
