After a successful first season of Conquered TV, Ms Shally is back with a brand new season on 23 July to entertain, educate and inspire the online TV viewing audiences.
While the first season focused mainly on pop stars such as Lira, DJ Sbu, Maps, Gert Johan-Coetzee and others of the same calibre, the new season fuses stars such as Mampho Brescia, Carol Tshabalala, Ricky Rick, Nigerian R&B star Banky W with big shots such as Trace CEO Olivier Laouchez and many more commanding equal success. In keeping up with exciting changes to the new season, Ms Shally will be co-hosting with British Council Entrepreneur of the year winner John Jay.
Viewers can catch the new season of Conquered TV on www.conqueredtv.co.za. The online TV has an overall of 170 000 hits. Ms Shally is excited about the return of the new. “It’s not about the glamour and glitz only, the show did exceptionally well in the first season and ready to double up those views this season,” she says.
Ms Shally, who is the brains behind the show, says after finishing her TV presenting course, she conceptualised the show with an aim of inspiring viewers and to offer them the story behind the stars they have to adore. “The good thing is viewers are not bound to watch on a certain time, they can just simply log on to the website at their convenience and watch the show,” she says.
The new season has a total of ten episodes which will be uploaded every Thursday. Ms Shally, who has also had a stint on TransAfrica Radio hosting Africa Access alongside John Jay, says the show is not only a hit in South African but also beyond African borders. The views show that top viewers are from South Africa, with the UK on the number two spot, the US on the third spot followed by Germany.
Ms Shally promises the new season will be even better in terms of content offering and hopes to double viewership figures.
