Muvhango hosts glittering celebrations

SABC2 soapie Muvhango celebrated its 20 years anniversary last night in a glittering ceremony held understandably in Gauteng.

The popular soapie, during its developing stages, was a strictly Tshivenda language play. However, as the soapie developed and viewership increased tremendously; the play accommodated other indigenous languages such as Sotho and Zulu.

The first episode of this much-loved soapie was aired on the 07th April 1997, and it was broadcasted once a week. As the matter stands, the drama is aired daily and has omnibus on weekend.

The likes of Liteboho Molise and Sindi Dlathu could not wait to post their colourful pictures on social media to show their appreciation of being part of Muvhango.

Halala Muvhango Halala.
