February 21 – Episode 6
An NUR, The Light will be heading off into the entrepreneurial world this week with Lamees Roomaney, founder of Pomegranate Events. Then we head off to the immaculate coastline of Durban as we take to the streets to have a closer look at trending hijabs and modest wear. We also go deeper into the history of Lenasia and then show you the coolest Islamic books, applications and technologies on the market. Next we’re cooking with Lamees and Yusuf Randeree who show us how to braai meat Randerees’ style.

March 7 – Episode 7
This week An NUR, The Light travels to Richards Bay to spend time with the inspiring Sajida Amin Sabjee Khan: co-writer of Nine Spaces of Chic, artist and founder of an Islamic pre-school. We then travel all the way to the Eastern Cape to look deeper into the need for mosque preservation. If you’re looking for new ways to have some family fun, stay tuned as we share events coming up in and around a city near you. Durban is known for its tropical climate and beautiful beaches follow us as we show you the best halaal things to eat, do and see under Durban skies. An NUR, The Light ends off this week with a beautiful Islamic song.

March 14 – Episode 8
We start off this week’s episode of An NUR, The Light with Dr. Ridwan Mia, recipient of the Order of the Baobab for his contribution to the medical field. We also hit the streets of the Eastern Cape to get a closer look at innovative Islamic fashions inspired by the personalities of the Muslims who wear it. In Cape Town we take a look at the movement towards organic farming and then head to Jozi to get cooking in the kitchen with Lamees and Rokaya as they show us how to prepare an absolutely delicious prawn dish. To end off another inspiring episode of An NUR, The Light we leave you with a melody from an Islamic musician.

March 28 – Episode 9

An NUR, The Light visits Ushaka Marine world this week to get a closer look at the life of animal behaviourist, Bilal Limbada. Balance is attained when one attends to all areas of the being; this includes the soul, mind and body. Here in our wellness segment we help the body along as Dr. Mariam Khan shares tips and health secrets for us all to implement into our daily lives. Then in Johannesburg we find out more about green design in Islam. We also head off to get our questions answered by Moulana Zakaria and then travel to the beautiful Eastern Cape where we show you what to see, do and eat while there.

April 11 – Episode 10
Join us this week on An NUR, The Light as we look into the life of Thandile Kona, an activist and chairperson of the Muslim Youth Movement in the Eastern Cape. We speed things up as we visit the fast paced city of Johannesburg to get a look at street style fashion trends of Muslim’s in the city of Gold.  We also head off to Durban where we visit the Minds Alive Wellness Centre to find out about their innovative methods of drug rehabilitation then we preview some fun events coming up this month.  Find yourself in the heart of the home as Lamees visits Reyhana and they get cooking in the kitchen with a recipe that you do not want to miss.

April 18 – Episode 11
An NUR, The Light heads off this week to visit Zayaan Khan an environmentalist and horticulturalist. We also look at the interesting role of being a doula and then visit Moulana Philander as he helps us along by answering our questions that we have about Islam. We also travel to Camissa, the place of sweet waters, more formally known as Cape Town where we show you what to see do and eat whilst in the Mother City. We end off the show with an Islamic tune to set the rest of your day off in good spirits.
