Sarah Graham cooking show coming to M-Net

Local food blogger and cookbook author, Sarah Graham, will take M-Net 101 viewers on a food safari across Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa from the end of November. The distinguished foodie’s second television series, titled Sarah Graham’s Food Safari, will continue the delectable journey that started with her first television venture, Bitten – Sarah Graham Cooks Cape Town.

In Sarah Graham’s Food Safari, Sarah takes her kitchen on the road, proving that anything is possible with the right ingredients. This new 10-part series, which is originated and produced by Okuhle Media, represents an intimate gourmet adventure that’s designed to fulfill the armchair foodie’s sense of curiosity about off-the-beaten-track spaces and delightful new flavours. It also showcases some unforgettable wildlife and in-the-bush dining experiences with Sarah’s friends and family.

Directed by SAFTA award winner Chris Lotz and with Louise McClelland at the helm as Executive Producer, Sarah Graham’s Food Safari is currently being filmed across 31 breath-taking locations, starting in her home country of Zimbabwe. From there the crew will capture Sarah’s adventures into Zambia before their road-trip will take them to the culinary treats of Johannesburg and then to Prince Albert in the Karoo. Other destinations include picturesque spots on the Garden Route, before finally reaching Cape Town.

M-Net’s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard, says Sarah Graham’s Food Safari promises to be perfect prime-time entertainment for the laid-back festive season. “The show celebrates everything our viewers love – from the most mouth-watering dishes to the beautiful African landscape. Furthermore, you can look forward to the high production values M-Net 101 is renowned for.”

Executive producer Louise McClelland adds: “Together with Sarah, we’re thrilled about the opportunity to collaborate with M-Net and bring our new series to a channel that is synonymous with bringing highly pedigreed and exceptionally entertaining cooking shows to discerning local audiences.”

Sarah Graham’s Food Safari is scheduled to premiere on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) from Sunday, 29 November at 18:00; followed by a weekly repeat broadcast on Mondays at 16:30 and Saturdays at 11:00.
