Siphiwe Hlabangane turns 32

Siphiwe Hlabangane is celebrating his 32nd birthday today.

Siphiwe made a name for himself in the acting industry when he played the role Kolo Modise on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango, from 2004-2007.

He was not in the acting industry by a fluke. Siphiwe studied drama at the National School of the Arts.

While doing a final year at the NSA, he was among the Top Eight performers in the drama department, and received a Best Ensemble award for his role in Woza Albert.

Apart from appearing on the screen, he produced, wrote and directed his own short film titled ‘Death of a Dream’, which was broadcasted on Soweto TV.
