Sonia Sedibe lands role in etv’s new series ‘The Alliance’


Sonia Sedibe has been cast in the upcoming etv’s brand new action series, The Alliance.

The 39-year-old Alberton-born actress will play Lydia, an investigator who wants to bring down Bra Jay, the head honcho kingpin of the series.

Lydia is part of an investigative unit called the Directorate of Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) who focuses on fighting corruption, organised crime and economic related crimes like fraud.

Sonia was also cast as Thuli on etv telenovela, Gold Diggers and she is best known her role on Generations as Ntombi Khumalo.

Also star in the new series are Keneilwe Matidze, Gugulethu Zulu, Denzel Edgar, Cebile Mlaba, Robert Hobbs and Damon Berry.
