Worldwide, fans of TV’s dashing men in ‘Suits’ have been waiting eagerly for their next appointment with the hotshot lawyers. Harvey, Mike and their plotting and scheming colleagues will return to US television screens tomorrow, Thursday 25 June for Season 5 of Suits, and at 02:30 on Friday 26 June, they will arrive on our shores via M-Net’s superfast Express from the US service.
While the prime-time episode will be screened in its usual M-Net timeslot the following Thursday (2 July at 19:30), there will also be a special treat for DStv Compact viewers who don’t have access to M-Net’s flagship channel, M-Net 101. At exactly the same time on Thursday, 2 July, M-Net City, channel 115 on DStv Compact, will screen the first episode of Suits as well.
“M-Net City was created as step into world-class entertainment and this exciting adjustment to next week Thursday’s schedule will give our M-Net City viewers the opportunity to share in the excitement of the return of Suits and give them a taste of what’s on offer on our premium channel,” says M-Net General Entertainment channels Director Gideon Khobane. “In future, more first episodes of some brand-new M-Net shows will often make their way to M-Net City to keep everyone up to speed about the latest Hollywood shows. We trust that M-Net City viewers will enjoy these short M-Net 101 windows on their channel.”
To accommodate the first episode of Suits Season 5 on M-Net City, the scheduled episodes of A-Z Season 1 will start at 20:30 on Thursday 2 July (not at 19:30, as per the original schedule), Criminal Minds Season 10 at 21:00 (not at 20:00, as per the original schedule) and The Fixer Season 4 will start at 22:00 (not at 21:00, as per the original schedule).
Suits Season 5 will also be available on the following DStv Catch Up platforms: DStv Now on PC, laptops, tablets and smartphones, PVRs and Exploras. And, remember you can download the free M-Net app to set reminders for all your favourite shows.
This season, law firm Pearson Spector Litt has to recover from the hard-fought victory that has left the firm shaken. Although she avoided jail time, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) has left Harvey (Gabriel Macht), after more than a decade of working together. She is now working for his long-time rival Louis (Rick Hoffman). And while Jessica (Gina Torres) readjusts to being single, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) are giddy after his marriage proposal.
