The Soil hold auditions online in search for female singer

The multi-award winning acapella group The Soil is searching for a new female vocalist to replace Buhle Mda. The auditions are conducted online for an interim replacement for the female singer, as she’s taking a break to respond to an ancestral calling.

So, you think you’ve got what it takes to be part of the group?

To audition, post a video with duration of 30 seconds to 60 seconds on The Soil Facebook page with hashtag #ExperienceTheSoil, no other forms of entry will be considered. Videos shorter or longer than the stipulated time will be disqualified. All participants need to be South African with a valid South African ID & passport

Closing date for all video uploads will be 5th February 2016 and live auditions will take place between 8th-11th February 2016 in Johannesburg

All chosen candidates for the live auditions should be able to travel to Johannesburg to audition for the band. Chosen participants will be contacted through their Facebook profiles to get further contact details by 6th February 2016.

Participants need to be over 18 and under 35 years. The chosen participant must be able available to travel locally and internationally from March 2016

FYI: The Soil has three members namely; Buhle Mda, Luphindo Ngxanga, and Ntsika Fana Ngxanga.
