San Andreas is a disaster film directed by Brad Peyton. A seemingly ideal day turns disastrous when California’s notorious San Andreas fault triggers a devastating, magnitude nine earthquake, the largest in recorded history. As the Earth cracks open and buildings start to crumble, Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson), an LAFD search-and-rescue helicopter pilot, must navigate the destruction from Los Angeles to San Francisco to ensure his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) and their only daughter (Alexandra Daddario) are brought to safety.
In Inside Out, emotions run wild in the mind of a little girl when she is uprooted from her peaceful life in the Midwest and forced to move to San Francisco in this Pixar adventure.
Riley likes her friends in Minnesota, sports, pizza and her parents. Riley does not like her new life in San Francisco, broccoli, Grandma’s vacuum cleaner, basement steps, Jangles the Clown and spiders. As Joy (voice of Amy Poehler) attempts to keep Riley feeling happy and positive about the move, other emotions such as Fear (voice of Bill Hader), Anger (voice of Lewis Black), Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) make this cross-country transition a little more complicated. When Joy and Sadness literally get lost in Riley’s mind, the other emotions try to keep Riley’s head on straight as she battles to cope with all the changes in her life.
