‘Uitvlucht’ sets to hit the big screen today, March 13


South African Afrikaans feature film, Uitvlucht will make its way to the local cinemas  from today, Friday, May 13, 2016.

The movie is about “ANNA, who is a teacher at a farm school, Uitvlucht, in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

The school is barely surviving on dwindling funds.

Here Anna is happiest, she is fond of the honesty and colloquial humour of the children who are all from the Langkloof villages.

Her marriage to Walter, is on its last legs. She is struggling to keep it together for her children sake. When Walter discovers Anna is having an affair, it is the last straw and they agree to divorce.”

Uitvlucht  is a story about God’s unending mercy, grace and Love that conquers all.

The leading actors in the new film are Albert Maritz, Carel Trichardt, Clara Joubert, Clyde Berning, Jill Levenberg and Stian Bam.
