Vuyo Dabula AKA Gadaffi to stay on Generations

Gadaffi Kumkani played by Vuyo Dabula is not leaving Generations: The Legacy


After much speculations as to whether Vuyo Dabula, who plays the controversial Gadaffi on Generations The Legacy, will leave the soapie or not, his fans have an answer now. Both producers and the actor have confirmed that Vuyo is not leaving the soapie.

This might be good news for his fans and bitter pill to swallow for viewers that do not like his character. In August, probably all Generations The Legacy viewers knew that Kumkani Phakhathi, as he also go by this name on the screen, will leave the soapie. However, the producers of Generations The Legacy could neither deny nor agree that Gadaffi character was planned to be written off. But, Vuyo himself made statements that he was leaving since his character would compromised should he stayed long.

In the acting industry, Vuyo had a stint at Yizo Yizo as Tsetse and Isidingo where he played the role of Titus Lesenya. He matriculated from PH Moeketsi Agricultural High School in 1995, and the following year went to Wits Technikon to further his studies. He is 38 years old.
