Zee World introduces a line up of food shows

The new extra ordinary food show line up kicks off on Zee World, DStv channel 166 in May with the award winning Khana Khazana and will be followed by Snack Attack and Kiddies Treats.

Khana Khazana

Khana Khazana meaning ‘ treasure of food” is a cooking show brought to you by renowned and award winning Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

For several viewers, their first Indian recipe is inspired from a Khana Khazana episode. Recipes such as Chicken in Almond Sauce, Power Pudding and unique adaptations of traditional recipes such as Biryani, have made the show popular amongst both Indian and non-Indian viewers. Episodic specials such as; Pickles, Grill, and Healthy Fast Food Specials will give viewers several ideas on how to whip up a variety of award winning food at home.

Khana Khazana was also awarded the Best Cooking Show at the ITA Awards 4 times, last winning the award in 2010.

Snack Attack

A snack is a special treat that can fill the space between two meals. This is the idea behind the cooking show, Snack Attack.

Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar brings you interesting and innovative snack recipes that can easily be made in the comfort of your own home. The recipes are quick and easy, yet delicious. Expect to get hooked on his creative takes on traditional snacks like sandwiches and chilli bites. Recipes such as the chicken and Sweet Coconut Samosa promise to tantalize both your sweet and sour cravings. Since Indian ingredients can be complex and difficult to find, the ingredients have been renamed in such a way that viewers can easily source these at a local stores here.

Chef Ranveer Brar has a flourishing career as a Chef and Food Stylist. He is currently a celebrity judge on the fourth season of MasterChef India, which launched in January 2015. Chef Brar has been featured amongst the top 50 chefs in the Indian Culinary Forum book.

Kiddies Treats

Kiddies Treats is a one of a kind cooking show created for young mothers in search for new and exciting recipes. Gurdeep Punj, a mother and television personality, brings you highly innovative and creative recipes that are both delicious and visually pleasing to young ones. Treats for kids are on top of the menu. Steamed Rice Cake Medley, Honey Noodles and Nuggets.com may sound odd at first but will definitely get kids curious and thinking.
